Who we are

Brockwell Capital Group is a leading "Asset Based" lender in the Southeast US.   Our experienced team specializes in short-term construction, renovation, and acquisition capital for commercial and residential transactions.  Founded in 1985, Brockwell Capital Group has funded in excess of $1.2 Billion in loans to investors from Florida to the Carolinas.  

History

In 1985, Jon Brockwell Sr. founded Brockwell Capital in Ft Lauderdale specializing in Asset Based Loans from Palm Beach to Miami.  His team developed a sustainable investment platform that has been carried forward by his family and their partners today.

Strategically headquartered in Charlotte, NC,  Brockwell Capital Group is positioned to capitalize on growth-driven markets. Our team's primary focus is to fund short-term commercial and residential acquisitions and developments in the Carolinas and South Florida. 



Team

Jon Brockwell Jr.

Jon serves as Principal at Brockwell Capital Group with a primary focus on residential "Asset Based" loans.  Jon started his career in 2016 with Brockwell Capital in Ft. Lauderdale as an Associate where his team funded and serviced in excess of 80M annually.  In 2019, Jon was promoted to Principle and led the expansion into the Charlotte market.  Jon and his team have originated over 175 loans since he's launched his office in the Carolinas. 



Loan Origination Structure & INVESTOR STRUCTURE

Brockwell Capital Group originates "Asset Based Loans," commonly referred to as Hard Money Loans to developers for the construction, redevelopment,  or acquisition of single-family, multi-family and commercial properties across major Southeast markets primarily focusedon North Carolina and Florida. 

North Carolina's and Florida's high growth environment, strong home appreciation, and lender favorable regulations, combined with Brockwell Capital Groups' experience and connections of being in the business for 35+ years limit investment risk and generate outsized returns for investors. 


Loan Amount:   50k - 15M

Loan Term:   1-year initial term with extension option

Average Loan to Value:   65% 

Security:  1st position mortgage

Interest Rate:   10% - 14% per annum 

Amortization:  Full- term Interest only 

Recourse:  Full- recourse to borrower and guarantor
